Well code 128 is for a faulty engine thermostat, usually the engine is not warming up to operating temp because the thermostat is stuck open.
Code 420 is for the catalytic converter not being up to acceptable performance on bank one which is the exhaust pipe for the side with cylinder one. Sometimes it means the cat is not working right, sometimes it is a problem between the front and rear O2 sensor, and sometimes it is something in the engine.
I would check the thermostat first and clear the codes to see if they come back.

Why does my 02 envoy keep trying to switch from driver 1 or 2 and keep chiming while running my battery down

Because it is a 2002.
Because it is a GMC.
Because it is an Envoy.

Go to Scotty Kilmer's YouTube page and type in GMC Envoy.

You need a good auto-electrician with a high end scan tool.

You could try disconnecting the battery for an hour in the hope of resetting the ECM and all the Body Control Modules. Make sure you have your key in the ignition when you reconnect. Wait 15 minutes. Make sure you know the radio code. Make sure you are ready for surprises.

How do i get the fuel tank ring off 2005 gmc envoy

03 Trailblazer fuel pump replacement

Removing An Old Fuel Pump

Although the link is for an 03 Trailblazer, it should work for your tank ring. It's wise to use a brass punch if you have one to avoid any sparks. The other video from Auto Zone should do it for you
Good Luck !!!

Where is the engine coolant temp sensor on gmc envoy 2004 xuv

More than likely the thermostat is stuck open. You should replace the thermostat and the temp sensor. See picture below for location.

Repaced both 02 sensors, check engine light still on

It would be very difficult to troubleshoot without knowing the error code that is causing the light to come on. If you live close to an Auto-Zone or Advanced Auto Parts, some offer free diag to tell you the error code you are experiencing. Hope this helps =)

I have a 2003 GMC Envoy and the check engine light comes on peridically. Auto Zone checked it and Code 0128 was the alleged issue. However, where is the sensor? No one seems to know the location of the...

This code relates to low coolant temperature not the 02 sensors. You should change your thermostat, it's stuck open and is not allowing the engine to properly heat up.

By the way, there are 2 92 sensors on Envoys and Trailblazers. One of them upstream is in the engine compartment right off the exhaust manifold, easy to replace. The other one downstream is next to the transmission drain plug in the exhaust pipe.

Hi can help me to fix code po125 on 2003 toyota corolla yuo know i try to fix but still came back the same code po125 , i change engine temperature coolant sensor and 02 oxyge sensor also 02 heater sensor...

Did you reset the Computer after you did the repair? After you replace a sensor that has stored a fault code you need to reset the computer in the car to clear the stored codes. Auto Zone or O'Rielley's may do it for you or try removing the Negative battery terminal for 60 secs.

Coolant Temp Sensor

The sensor is located on the drivers side engine block...although you can see if from looking from the top of the engine, you would have to get under the vehicle and look up to replace it. Be aware that it takes a special tool to unscrew the old one and screw in the replacement.
