If this freezing is consistent across all games you are having a heat issue. Since your unit is less than a year old go to www.xbox.com/support and request a repair.
It's very possible that your xbox is overheating or on the verge of a "red ring" problem. Try testing another game to see if the game freezes. If it does and you end up getting the 3 red rings, you will need to take measures through xbox support to get it repaired (for free if within 3 years of purchase)
I dont know why it is happening, but the same happened to me. This kept happening until i got the red ring of death. No matter what, the red ring is covered by warranty as long as it isnt opened up.
I have the same problem with most of the EA sports games, and here's the solution. Stop buying these $60 drink coasters that EA has the balls to keep dishing out to us, and they'll either go under, or spend some time on their turds for a change. Some of the things that happen in their sports titles make me wonder if the French-Canadian A-holes have ever even seen a game or a race, for that matter. Anyway, the only way to stop the freezing is to do what I do.....throw them in the trash where they belong, and stop purchasing them.

My son had a smiliar paroblem, and I bougt him an aftermarket system cooler. It has three/4 fans, and mounts to the reqar of the unit where the power supply plugs in. He has not had one single problem with it since!
If it freezes on multiple games its prolly not the game. my first xbox had this problem, i had to have my xbox replaced, but first try unplugging everything then plugging back in that sometimes fixes it. You can also try the things xbox customer support says to do with freezing xboxs. If none of this works then take the xbox back. If its just StarWars Force Unleashed thats freezing then it could be like all the others. the game has been having a major freezing problem.
