Sonata 2012 display blank and won't turn on

SOURCE: I have a 2012 raptor toy hauler with a sony multi disc player [MEX-DV2200] and the radio has quit working. It turns on but won't receive any stations. Everything else works fine. Any ideas?

Have you been able to check your connections from the unit to the antenna? If it was working before and then just quit I would start there first, a loose connection or frayed coaxial cable could be your problem, also if the antenna has moved it could be improperly grounded now and unable to receive also, you'll need to check the mounting of the antenna to make sure that it has come lose or built up corrsion. Roughly 80-90% of all radio problems/solutions are antenna/cable/connections based and rarely the radio itself.

you need to go to the Hyundai service center they can reset the radio I believe this is a security feature, you may be able to call the service center to find out the procedure to reset the radio, it is the original right ?

Check the starter and the starter relay or fuse. A client of mines car was doing the same thing, it ended up being two issues, the starter not working anymore, and a relay that was bad. If I am not mistaken everything should be labeled in the fuse box under the hood and will tell you where the fuse/ relay is for your vehicle

Pulling the postive battery lead for you car battery, for a couple minutes, and then re-securing it again might help.
