Please check if duplex option is ticked.

Uninstall the device driver, restart the Comp and reinstall the software. If the scanner is not detected, try inserting any working device on the same USB port. if it detected, thee could be problem in the Scanner, if the new device is not detected, then it may be port problem.

The Canon DR-3080C is only color on the front side. The back side is monochrome only. The next model, which was the DR-3080CII will do double sided color scanning

Disconnect the scanner from the computer. Uninstall driver software, shut down and restart the Comp. Reinstall the driver. (http://software.canon-europe.com/software/0036991.asp?model= ). connect the scanner and the system will report USB device plugged in. This should work.

canon DR-2010C scanner which gives error after some times.my system is vista.the error is "The device could not be locked. Check to see that another application isn't using the device -4630".
Answer :- change USB cable which is connect with scanner to PC or laptop definitely it will resolve.

Uninstall all drivers and scanning software. Switch off the comp and Scanner, restart the scanner first and then the computer, reinstall drivers and scanning software. Pls run scandisk on the Computer and ensure the OS is okay.

Uninstall the driver and reinstall the driver. Make sure your driver supports the Operating System you are using.

Use a blank sheet of paper (as white and clean as possible). Put it in the scanner landscape ( you will need to cut off about 1/2 inch of the paper to make it fit. The run the DR-3080CII Shading tool (DR3KUserSh.exe) C:\Program Files (x86)\Canon Electronics\DR-3080CII\DR3KUserSh.exe

Pls run checkdisc/scandisk on your Comp. Your OS may be corrupted. Just to verify try scanning by connecting to a formatted newly loaded OS Computer.

I recieved this error when trying to scan pages in using our new Kofax scanning solution with a DR-3080CII. I discovered that the latest canon driver for that scanner was not compatible with the software and it made the application hang in the background. I found an older driver that was compatible and installed it, no more error.
