With any kind of electrical burning smell you should call a technician. The smell could be generated from either the control panel being shorted or the motor itself overheating and burning the one of the windings out.

Hello purrpplee - If the smell is coming out of the oven vent, more than likely it is something inside the oven that is creating the odor. Also, keep in mind that new cooking products can create a burning electrical odor when the bake and broil cycles are used as any residual coating or film on the oven liner and elements burns off. However, if odor increases consult a professional for an accurate diagnosis.

More specifically, it smelled like an electrical smell and emitted smell for about 20 minutes and stopped. Now the panel lights come on, but everything clicks off as soon as you push the start button. It does not make any strange sounds. It did not smell like a burning belt. It is an LG DLE2516W Tromm dryer.
