To access your voice mail remotely, while a greeting is playing (either the mail greeting or your own mail box greeting) press ** followed by your mail box number, password followed by the # ( ex. **,221,1234,#).

more than likely someone in your office left the message rather than the voice mail. to clear it press the call soft key below the screen. the screen should display who left the message with two of the soft keys labeled call and erase. press the erase soft key. it's possible the the person/s that left the message left multiple messages. in that case repeat the procedure til all messages are canceled
