Depending on the age of the amp, there is a possibilty that the amp my have damaged lanes or tracks to the pre-amp section to the front of the amplifier.
The manual discusses the Clip Inidicator and how to deal with clipping.
Clipping in this amp isprimarily a function of the input signal being distorted so the input level is recommended to be lowered. Beyond that the cause of input distortion would have to be addressed in the device producing it.
There is a possible noise build up on your CH2 due to failure or weakness of the LCR network of the preamp circuit. It could also be a noise within any semiconducctor or the preamp IC. Unless you can do a signal test with the elimination of the input to the output amplifier, the fault will not be say to isolate. Hence if youarre familiar do the test by approching from the output amplifier's input, proceeding to the main input where the faulty section can be identified. Hope this helps. Good day
The good news is that I have access to the schematic. The bad news is that it is on paper only. Can you describe what you need? Perhaps I can provide it.
