Behringer amp 240 to 120 volts

I do i convert a Behringer EUROPOWER EP2500 Amplifier from a 240 volt input to a 120 volt input?

  • Anonymous Sep 10, 2012

But if you need to change voltage input inside the unit , select the 110V input at the rear panel
if switch is unavailable , it still can be done inside the unit

What you may need is a

Voltage converter ' Voltage Transformer ' step up and step down ...

Connect the 220V line output to EP2500

And the 110V input to your 110V convenient outlet

Clipping the channels

The manual discusses the Clip Inidicator and how to deal with clipping.

Clipping in this amp isprimarily a function of the input signal being distorted so the input level is recommended to be lowered. Beyond that the cause of input distortion would have to be addressed in the device producing it.

My behringer europower EP2500 poweramp has a bad hiss on channel 2 What could this be?

There is a possible noise build up on your CH2 due to failure or weakness of the LCR network of the preamp circuit. It could also be a noise within any semiconducctor or the preamp IC. Unless you can do a signal test with the elimination of the input to the output amplifier, the fault will not be say to isolate. Hence if youarre familiar do the test by approching from the output amplifier's input, proceeding to the main input where the faulty section can be identified. Hope this helps. Good day

Service manual

The good news is that I have access to the schematic. The bad news is that it is on paper only. Can you describe what you need? Perhaps I can provide it.
