Don't know if it will work on ur phone but i have the i9 and used samsung pixon wap/mms settings. go to www.samsung mobile.co.uk scroll down page until u get to smaller writing at the bottom, click on CONFIGURE PHONE (right hand side under support) this will take you to the mms/wap setting page click on which one you want then fill in details don't forget it's SAMSUNG PIXON not ur phone. they will send you message for mms/wap (u have to do it for each lot of settings) when message comes through remember to save/install when asked. hope this helps

I) in the case of branded mobile(such as nokia, samsung, lg, .....), u can get internet setting to ur mobile by sending a message from ur mobile, but this is not the caseof china mobile

ii) in case of china mobile u have to take mobile to ur nearest service provider center(fore eg: vodafone mobile store in case of vodafone service provider) and he will make some settings in ur mobile(internet settings & mms settings) and activate the internet manually(otherwise insist him activate internet there itself)..

Thank you

I pay so i can text which my plan includes picture messaging but i can recive them but can not send them

If you are having problems sending MMS, it will be a wrong setting on the phone. You need to contact your carrier (Orange, T Mobile, AT&T) and ask for the correct settings to imput on the 'settings' menu. They will look similar to the example below (for O2):
Name: O2 MMS APN: wap.o2.co.uk Proxy: http://wap.o2.co.uk Port:9201 Username: o2wap Password: password
tip

Apple iPhone 3G/3GS O2 UK Contract APN Settings

iPhone: How to set up the APN setting for O2 Contract

The APN defines the network path for all data services i.e. internet & e-mail.

To edit the APN go to Settings > General > Network > Cellular Data Network

Cellular Data:

APN – mobile.o2.co.uk
Username – mobileweb
Password – password

MMS:

APN – wap.o2.co.uk
Username – wap
Password – wap
MMSC – http://mmsc.mms.o2.co.uk:8002
MMS Proxy – 193.113.200.195

You are now ready to use your iPhone to browse the internet & send MMS picture messages.
N.B Please ensure you have a data bundle attached to your account or you may incur additional charges on your account.

GENERAL PHONE SETTINGS FOR GPRS
1. Setting APN : First we have to set one APN each for Internet and MMS respectively.
(Access Point Name) - for Internet set ( www.e.po) and for MMS set (mms.e.po)
2. Setting WAP Profiles : Now we need a WAP PROFILEwith WAP GATEWAY (192.168.81.163)
3. Creating Bookmarks : Now we need some BOOKMARKS of WAP SITES for Internet Surfing.
4. Settings for MMS : Different Handsets have their respective MMS Settings where we
require MESSAGE SERVER / HOMEPAGE and this is set as follows : http://192.168.81.166/servlets/mms

still helpless..

I bought UK unlocked Samsung SGH U 600 T Mobile

T-Mobile USA and T-Mobile UK use different WAP and MMS settings - you will probably discover that t-zones doesn't work on the phone either.

The simplest thing to do is go to the T-Mobile USA site and use the OTA configurator to send the correct settings for WAP and MMS to your phone.

The link is here:

I9 wap/gprs & mms settings for O2

First you have to make 2 data accounts,
1 for wap,
1 for mms.
Press service,
Data account,
GPRS, ok,
Pick any one of the settings because you are going to change it,
Press edit.
account name edit to O2 WAP GPRS,
APN to payandgo.o2.co.uk,
user name to payandgo,
password is password,
authentication type normal,
after each one if done is the option press it. this is the setting for wap internet.

You have to do the same again to make a new data account for the mms. the settings for this is
account name O2MMS,
APN payandgo.o2.co.uk,
user name payandgo all others same as before.

Now you have 2 new data accounts you need to set up wap.
press service, wap, settings, edit profile, sim 1 or 2 which ever you are using,
select the O2 WAP GPRS account that was made earlier,
press ok. press edit profile,
rename profile is ok it is O2 WAP GPRS,
edit home page to http//wap.o2.co.uk,
set data account to O2 WAP GPRS,
connection type wap, IP address 193,113,200,195
user name payandgo,
password is password,
press back and activate profile.
you should be able to get on to o2 homepage now.

To get mms
press text, mms, mms settings, server profile, sim which ever you are using 1 or 2 ,
select the O2 MMS made earlier, edit profile, rename profile is 0k should be O2 MMS, home page is http//mmsc.mms.o2.co.uk:8002,
data account is the O2 MMS you made before,
connection type wap,
MMS IP address 193,113,200,195
user name payandgo,
password is password,
select back when all settings are entered and select activate profile. this should be it.
This works OK for me.
