I have just put a new battray in my packard bell laptop. the charging light keeps flashing, and it is telling me no battary is detegted, yet my laptop is working fine, i gooled the problem that say fully charge it for 24 hours , which i have done. i tried my older battray back in and it works fine so the PC is working alright. thank you .
It may be compatibility issue due to voltage or ampere difference. Please replugged after shutting down.
Good Luck

The battery is probably faulty, try a different one. If it does the same thing with a different battery, then must be a short in behind the battery socket on the laptop. In that case better take it to service.

sounds like the ac adapter isnt working.Test the adapter with a volt meter. The sticker on the adapter should tell the output voltage.

You have a ground fault issue in the DC JACK.
There are escentially 4 circuits in the jack and one is not making contact.
1: Negative Charge circuit (outter ring)
2: Negative Run circuit (outter ring)
3 Positive (Inner Ring)
4: Signal (center pin)
I believe the negative charge circuit (outter ring) is not making contact internally. Typically what happens on that model DC Jack is the tension contact metal becomes fatigued, and does not touch the outter ring.
This could come from Heat causing early fatigue of the metal.
Or normal wear, the metal has simply worn out from regular insert/removal.

That usually indicates battery is beginning to go bad. Eventually it will not hold a charge and will need to be replaced.

The 4 orange flashes mean the battery is defective.
Wireless problems with a Packard Bell PC or laptop can be caused by a variety of issues.
The best troubleshooting resources are the documentation that came supplied with the computer, and the Support section of the Packard Bell website.
Unable To Detect Wireless Network
If the Packard Bell machine is unable to detect a wireless network, the computer itself or the network could be at fault.
Check that a wireless signal is being broadcast via another PC or device, and check that are wireless adapter is installed, complete with the latest drivers, which are available at the Packard Bell website.
Unreliable Wireless Network
If the wireless connection is unreliable, intermittent or very slow, it suggests a problem with the Wi-Fi broadcast.
Try positioning the computer closer to the router broadcasting the wireless signal, or use a signal booster to improve the range.
Download and install the latest driver updates from the Packard Bell website and through the Windows Update tool.
Unable To Connect To Wireless Network
If the computer can detect the network but is unable to connect to it, a network security key may be required. This should have been configured by the person who set up the network. Consult the documentation that came with your router for details of how to change it or generate a new key.
Hope this helps
