Hi this sounds like a memory/ram issue you need to power of your machine, remove the power cable & then without the power cable connected, press & hold the power button for 15 seconds until it makes a chime noise, that is a basic power function reset, if that does not solve it, remove the memory cover panel on the under side of your laptop then carefully remove the memory chips blow or vacuum the area & use a dry piece of tissue to very gently clean your memory of any dust, replace the ram chips & re-connect power cord, this should solve it, but if not try starting up again without the power cord, if it's successful without the power cord you'll need a new 1, if not it suggests your ram chips have gone bad & you may need to purchase new ram chips, good luck :-) you can find more info about the 5 beeps here:
