SOURCE: Phone lock needs unlocking - samsung g600

switch the phone on without a sim card,
type in *2767*2878# WAIT for it to reset,
once it boots up itself, the phone code is now gone,
if the phone is asking for a SIM LOCK password
then send it to someone who has the equipment to unlock it

A request for a PUK code ("Personal Unlocking Key") will appear on your phone if your SIM card PIN code is entered 3 consecutive times incorrectly.

Your SIM card will then become "PUKed" or Blocked. This is a security measure to protect your service.

You need to call the Customer Service department of your cell phone provider and they will give you the PUK code which will unblock your SIM card.

You'll need to remove the battery and locate the sticker with several numbers on it. One will be labeled either an IMEI or an ESN.

Once you have obtained this number, contact the provider the phone was made to be used with (either orange or virgin). Provide them with the IMEI or ESN and they will provide you with the unlocking code.

I have just tried it with my new locked to orange g600 and it works fine on all networks.

1-Turn on the phone without sim card .
2-Pull off the battery cover and insert any non-accepted sim card (without turning off the handset)
3-Do full reset *2767*3855# , phone will reboot and goes to Menu .
4-Customize Sp-lock code *7465625*638*00000000*00000000#
5-Unlock your phone with new SP code #7465625*638*00000000#
6-Enjoy G600 unlocked
if it doesn't work after step 3.. try changing the 'non-accepted' sim card that ur putting in..
eg if you are locked to vodafone and you try this method and use an orange sim card and it doesn't work, try using a o2 sim or even virgin :)
