How do I install height adjust cable on roomba 415?

My roomba will vacuum floors but not carpet. I read about a stainless steel height adjust cable.....where is it located and what is the correct installation procedure?

put a trip of white tape on bottom of bumper where the sensor is. That will pvercome the black carpet aversion. If there is no cliff to fall over it wont matter that you have put tape on it.

roomba 415 indicates that it is fully charged but will not turn on. Tested battery and it is reading 13.5 volts

There is not a height adjustment plate on the vacuum. There is a bottom plate which is the part that glides across the floor. It has three plastic screws which you turn with a large screwdrive or a coin to remove the bottom plate.

You need to adjust the "Brush Height String" The new battery is a bit heavier than the old ( by 10 ounces if you got the new battery) dis assemble the roomba and you will see a string attached to a screw which allows the brushes to rise and fall with different surfaces. Move the string 1/4 " and re tighten the screw. Good to go!
