Dishwasher was tipped and won't run

My Zanussi DE6850 was tipped when we moved house (actually it was put on its side i think) and now the 'washing cycle' and 'drying cycle' lights flash simultaneously. The manual says that this is the Flood Protection warning. Clearly something needs to be reset - does anyone know where i should start?

I have the same problem if you take off the tray below the front door and set a small blow heater in there it will dry the out the anti flood switch. It usally takes about 25 mins for the machine to start working again.

I have a Zanussi DE6850 free-standing dishwasher. Have just put on a 65 degree programme. After approximately 1 minute the machine has stopped functioning and the top two lights are flashing and water...

Hello,
You seem to have a blockage, have you checked the filters lately. Also check the drain hose and the pipe that the drain hose goes into,if they are clear then the blockage is down in the bottom of the dishwasher in the pipes or the drain pump.

Hope this helps.

ZANUSSI DE6855 DISHWASHER - NO HEAT FOR WASHING OR DRYING

Make sure you unplug before you start. I had the same problem with a DE6850. The heater was ok. Metered at 25.ohms. Apparently, the relay on the control board mounted in the front door behind the switches is a common fault. Remove the screws around the top part of the door and you will be able to get at the control module. Resolder the connection. Zanussi reliability has been lost. Noel P31bf5e2.jpg
