Hi, I have a nokia 6170 mobile that appears to be locked on use with a headset. The only way I can answer or make calls is to hit the loudspeaker button. The only other option is to change it back to headset. The problem is I don't have a headset and have never used one, so I'm not sure why it thinks I'm using a headset. Can this be fixed.

The CODE you need to enter is the unique unlock code for your Nokia 6020
U must RESET the Headset. Switch OFF the Headset. HOLD the answer/end key + power key (for about 5 second). Red + Green indicators lights start to alternate. Then Ur Headset is RESET.
There is some problem with your phone mic only.please use your headset to check it.Connect your headset and answer phone with your headset.If the person don other side hear you then the problem is with the mic only.Please take the mobile to NOKIA CARE centre and they will repair the mic.

what you will do,you will press*#7780# then it will want your password,then you will put your password and wait few minuts,if your ph take restart automaticaly, then ok, other wise you will restart your ph manualy
switch off your mobile first. Hold the following 3 keys simultaneously. Call button(green button), * and 3(number button) With there 3 keys holded by u, simultaneously switch on your mobile.
The headset icon always appear in my nokia n70 and cannot remove and when i connect my headset ... it doesn't work . with or without headset the headset icon always appear in my screen .
this setting can be adjust by the phone settings. you just setup in the profile to answer automatically, and you will have a 5 second delay automatic answer.
