I bought a captain american and iron man avenger radio control trike. the two trike operate on the same rc frequency. is there a way to change the frequency band on either one so either remote control will not control both trike?
None that I have ever heard of---usually those are burned in the microprocessor circuit the unit uses with the remote.
Only chance would be to contact the maker of each to see if alternate code can be set but I doubt it.

A universal remote would cure this problem. It's generally since they are on the same system or IR codes are similar. There isnt much you can do to fix that problem unless you have a seperate universal remote to opperate seperately.

The remote could be using RF, which is why your Niles equipment cannot handle it. There is no way to duplicate the RF or convert it to an IR signal.
If the remote is using IR, make sure the batteries are full and the light is low when you are learning the codes with tne Niles equpment. There is no way if it's IR that the freq is > 100.
