I purchased a Mitel 5303 off Ebay. All the parts are there except for the "short" (as described in the manual) cord. This cord is an RJ11 to RJ45. sadly, it is not a standard RJ-45.
Any help would be appreciated.
I have made these cords up before, this cord only uses 2 conductors so a length of Cat3 (station wire) 3 pair or less would be more than enough. Looking straight at the jack end with the tab facing down the pins are numbered from right to left, starting at 1 from the right to 4 or 8 depending on whether it is RJ11 or RJ45. On the RJ11 end pin 2 is red and pin 3 is white,on the RJ45 end pin 1 is red and pin 2 is white. That's it all you need is a crimper and the ends.
I believe that if you reach a busy signal, you can hang up. The conference should ring you back and the rest of the conference will be there.
Here's what the documentation shows from within the help of a 3300 ICP/MCD...
a 5303 is to be treated just like a 2500 series set...

That is exactly what I needed. Thanks for the help. Maybe I can get management off my back about it now.
