My Inspire kept rebooting itself. I would plug it in at night and wake up to a totally dead phone. Now it won't boot up at all, the screen does'nt light up, no flashing lighe, and it still just vibrates 7 times. I've tried to do the hard boot with the power and volume button to no evail. It just vibrates 7 times and nothing. It's like it's stuck. How can I fix it?

Please note that all data will be deleted from the HTC Inspire 4G as a result of this procedure. This process may or may not delete data stored on the microSD card. We recommend backing up all of your personal data before proceeding.
First, try this:
From the main home screen, tap menu
Tap Settings, then Privacy
Tap Factory data reset
Tap Reset phone
Enter your password if required, then tap Erase everything to confirm
If that doesn't work, or if your phone is frozen:
Turn the power off. If your HTC Inspire 4G is frozen, pull the battery out and reinsert it
Hold the Volume Down button
Press and hold the Power button until the device turns on
You are now presented with a menu that allows for Fastbook, Recovery, Clear Storage, and Simlock
Select Clear Storage by pressing the Volume Down button
Press and release the Power button
Now simply confirm your decision: Volume Up for YES and Volume Down for NO
All data including third-party applications will be deleted from the HTC Inspire 4G. Once the wipe is complete, the phone will reboot to its factory fresh state.
It is the boot rom menu for the device. Just power it off then back on. IF it comes back then your OS on your phone is toast.It means your phone is in recovery mode. Hold down the volume up and power button at the same time, then select the option to reboot by going up or down with the volume keys and pressing the power button to confirm your selection.

Try using another SD card to see if that one will read. If so, there is a problem with your SD card. But if that card is also unable to be read, and your phone is fully updated, there is a problem with the reader on your HTC handset. You can contact HTC for a repair or a replacement. You might even have some luck at the retailer where you originally bought your phone. It's a fairly new model.
