I upgraded the ground to 2 gauge and the power to 0 gauge and new 150 amp alternator and new optima battery , Im wondering if it possible to run more then 13.8 volts to the amp ,and if so how would I go about this I think that there isn't enough volts I know there is a temp sensor and a volt sensor on this amp it's not over heating if I could find a way to bypass the volt sensor it would stay thumping at least I think so lol [email protected]

Can i run two 2ohm subs off a amp that is no lower than 2ohm stable

Yes you can, but they must be wired in series only. This will give you a 4 ohm load. If you wire them in parallel it will give you a 1 ohm load which may be too low for your amp to support.

Trying to put ported reccomended subs in sealed box.

Well, 1.6 cubic foot for a 15 is not nearly enough. A ported box for 1 15 should be in atleast 3 cubes by itself. I suggest building a new box yourself or getting someone else to do it for you. If factory specs on those subs is no larger than 3 cubes per sub then I'd get the box built to 3 cubes per sub after all displacement and tune it in the upper 30's range. Putting big subs like that in a small sealed enclosure can and will damage a sub. and if you try to port an enclosure that is too small to begin with that will also hurt the woofer. Do it right or learn the hard way.

I have 2 Maaudio HK4000 and i whant to bridge toghater? i have 2 pioneer subwoofers and i have it come down in 2ohm thogater. How can i bridge it?? mvh Leif

What are the ohms of the subs? Are they single or dual voice coils??? But FYI you can bridge the amps together, You have to use them separate one sub on each one. You can't run one sub on 2 amps.

My ma audio hk 898 will power on but will not push subs at all what can i do

Hello 76firebirdfo,

If there's no sound at all from the subs and you know they are good, there's probably no output from the amp. It's either wired incorrectly or it is defective.

If there's some sound but just not loud enough, then either the amp is not getting enough of an input signal from your head unit, or the amp settings are not adjusted properly. Adjust the crossover and gains for the best output to subs. LP filter on, crossover frequency at about 80-100Hz, and gain to maximum without distortion when head unit volume is at about 3/4 maximum.

Hope this helps.

Ma audio hk 4000d

you have definately blown a output channel, or power supply. Send it in for warranty.

My ma audio hk 4000 amp is powered on no sound coming thru subs amps brand new

If there is no protection light on, be sure the input is on. Some head units need to be turned on manually (factory set to OFF).
Verify the subwoofers are wired properly.
A list of your components would help to solve your problem.
If it is new, it should still be under warranty - worst case scenario output transistor(s) blown, or power supply bad.

MA Audio HK4000D please help me ?

Turn the system off and disconnect the speakers. Turn the system on. If the amp still goes into protection mode with no speakers connected, then most likely the output transistors are bad. If the protection light is off, hook up one sub at a time until you find the one that is causing the problem

Is it enough

Audiobahn subs are not too powerful and they can not handle too much continuous RMS, be careful they will heat up and tear off the voice coils off ur subs. run about 100 - 150 RMS at 75 HZ to each sub and keep the gains at about 3/4 this way you will avoid blowing out your subs. It also depends on the amp? What kind of amp is it?

Let me know if you wish. Otherwise
