SOURCE: craftsman 42" riding lawn mower blade free spinning but wont cut

It sounds to me that you need a new mower deck drive belt, or your blades need sharpening. If the blade edges are rounded, they won't cut butter... Also, when mower is off, check mower deck drive pulleys to make sure you don't have any that are locked up or are dragging. You can check this by pulling the belt away from pulley and spinning the pulley by hand. MOWER MUST BE OFF before attempting any of these checks. You would be surprised how many people would try this with the mower running.
Hope this helps

Part for a Roper Tractor. A long shot I know, but would anyone know a dealer that might ship a part to the UK? The part I require are the 3 deck wheels situated immediately in front of the cutter...

One would think there is a US vendor out there who has these parts and will ship internationally. A google search for Roper mower parts would turn that up. Roper may be a special case, but almost all US lawn tractors are made by MTD/AYP regardless of the actual name printed on the mower.

Those deck wheels, to my knowledge, only come in 2 generic sizes which are based on the size of the deck. Both Lowe's and DIY have big boxes of them for sale, at least here in the US, in the area of the store where mower blades and belts are sold. If they are a bit narrow, spacers come in handy and if a bit wide some material can be cut or ground off.

Ajusting mower deck on husqvarva lawntractor been trying to make it level, has two cutting blades and this mower is not very old bought it last summer,

I think the two bladed units are 42" and down in size. The 48" are 3 bladed units. There are instructions in the manual for leveling the cut. If you do not have a manual, look on line for a manual, google it. First step is to get the mower sitting on a level piece of concrete. That way you know which corner needs to be raised or lowered. Then make sure your blades are mounted correctly. Usually you can see the adjusters, threaded bolts and nuts, or pins. Usually the deck comes level and gets **** up by someone taking the deck off to swap or sharpen blades.
