Went to a family dollar with a roof top unit and at the time could only check right above the drop ceiling, where there was a return and supply flex and a piece of square duct going through the roof and a novar control board mounted on the duct with it looked like 6 or 7 wires on it and 3 wires going to an alarm.. there was no power on the board and the fuse in the board was NOT blown.. i could only see that..i couldnt get to the roof.. have to wait till friday to come back with a tall enough ladder.. but the call came in cause of the alarm went off and they could smell burning.. wonder if anyone ever worked on these boards? maybe u could help me? thank you!.

Sounds like a smoke detector to me. usually they just break the red or the green through a relay, if it smells smoke. could be dust burning off the heat strips first use, or you could get on the roof and find burned wires or motor. lots of old wires burning up with heat strips kicking in this time of year. i usually have em turn off alarm so fire dept wont come and turn to max heat and burn off the strips , measure amps, check wires, and all relays etc. you may have to bypass smoke detector till done. then return to correct "as found" wiring and reset alarms. hopefully no call backs. good luck.

Juguar convitable top operation problem

Hi Mike..we just bought a 97 xk8 with the same problem. Simple fix. Remove the carpet on the right side of the trunk, above the cd changer. You'll see the pump. We were able to top off the fluid using a turkey baster and a flex-straw. Make sure you have the correct hydrolic fluid and just **** some into the baster, attach the flex-straw to the end and bend it into the fill hole on top of the pump. Super simple. Worked like a charm. Roof raising and lowering like new.

I purchased a dometic roof top ac unit mdl#641515.301c0, however on the website i cannot find install manual or user manual

What part about installation are you having problems with, and what are you installing it on? Do you have both upper (roof) unit & lower ( at ceiling) ? Is it a ducted system or blowing directly from ceiling assy?
Check this link as well , you may find 6300 series is same install.

Power to ac but will not turn on

Please give more details if possible. Roof air, with mechanical controls at ceiling, or thermostat on wall? Ducted system in ceiling or blows right out of ceiling assembly? Can you get a model number off base of upper (roof) unit, it should be visible when you remove filter from ceiling?

I have a disney princess tent that goes over a twin bed and i lost the instructions to putting it together and i need help.

  • 1

Remove the tent and poles from the packaging. Select an indoor area with a high ceiling or an outdoor area without overhead obstacles. The poles are not excessively long but they will be difficult to assemble without space.

  • 2

Lay the Princess tent with the floor on the ground. Pull on each corner to tighten the floor. Assemble the two tent poles by inserting the male sections into the metal ferrules.

  • 3

Slide one pole through each of the diagonal sleeves. Place the end of each pole in the fabric pockets on the corners. This will flex the poles and raise the tent body.

  • 4

Place the fabric roof on top of the tent. Attach the hooks on each corner of the roof to the loops on the top of the pole sleeves. The roof fabric will stretch tight and cover the ventilation gap in the tent ceiling.

Water leak where is the foam gasket on the roof

Depending on the age of your unit there are 4 or 6 screws holding the ceiling unit up to the ceiling.
Unlatch the black plastic screws by turning them 1/4 turn and drop down the center filter panel.
This will expose the mounting screws which again depending on the age of your unit may or may not be spring loaded. If they are spring loaded there will be 2 extra screws one on each side.
As you drop the plenium down be careful of the wiring
There are 4 8" long bolts that hold the upper A/C unit to the roof via a metal bracket under the ceiling.
We always use a cordless screw driver with a clutch in it to insure that we torque each bolt evenly in a cross corner pattern. You can tighten these bolts pretty darn tight
This should solve your leak if it does not you may have to remove the upper unit and replace the gasket which should be available from any good RV shop

House does not heat very well, flow of air is not good. the unit is in the garage hanging from the ceiling. the return is facing the house and the fir flow is towards the garage door. to go back to the...

What would probably concern me the most is the return. Does the return just poke through a wall and have a filrter and cover over it, is it the only return in the house?

The supply duct going back into the house, does it go up into the ceiling and feed the rooms from the Attic?

If this is the case, alot of times flex duct is installed
and that can restrict airflow. It is only suppose to be used on the last five feet of any single duct run.

Check to see if this is the case, sometimes they put manual dampers in the duct, make sure they are open.

If you only have a single return, you may have to add
more. Finally check the blower speed and make sure
    all ductwork is sealed.

    Problem with novar control board

call a professional! Novar control systems can be connected to HVAC,lighting, alarms, etc. Guessing or trying to fix something if you are not at least familiar with the control system can cause more damage than you are willing to pay for. sometimes in life it is just as heroic to know when to put your hands in your pockets and slowly back away.
