My ps3 will not play tomb raider 1 and 2 . It reads the games as an audio cd but it also lets you play the games , but when i attempt to play the game there is no sounds and it frezzes at the main menu. I have a ps2 and tomb raider 1 and 2 work perfectly . tomb raider 3 ,4,5 work perfectly on ps3 but not 1 and 2 . my ps3 is also a 60GB . any suggestions?

Hi!

First of all, try playing all of your games and see if its just one disk or your ps3, following that I would say you put in a blu-ray movie and check if that works. If it doesn't, get a USB memory stick and save all your important data. After that, reset your system settings.

You can do that by:

Settings> System Settings> Restore System Settings

After that try it and if it doesn't work, go again to system settings but this time around, go to restore ps3 system.

You can do that by:

Settings> Sysem Settings> Restore PS3 System.

It should be noted that all of your stuff will be deleted, so I hope you saved all of your game saves on that usb flash disk.

If it doesnt work then do the following:
