Android Update Since the Android update my G1 phone has a problem, whenever I try to enter a site from Google's search result page, it sends me to - wipcore.t-mobile.com Or show this error message - "Your Plan Does not support this feature" Am I the only one with this problem? What can I do? Thanks.

I never had that problem with mine, however i have heard of that before.....try clearing out your content cache from the browser settings to see if that helps. t-mobile wont really be able to do much more then that or resetting your device.....

to clear out your cache, go to:

MENU > SETTINGS > APPLICATIONS > MANAGE APPLICATIONS

once your here, select BROWSER then select CLEAR DATA. if that doesnt help any, try to power off your handset and turn it back on after a few seconds.....

worse case scenario, you will need to reset the handset....if you do this, you will need to log in again with the username and password with the google account you signed in with when you first bought the phone....

to reset the device, go to MENU > SETTINGS > SD CARD AND PHONE STORAGE > FACTORY DATA RESET > RESET PHONE > ERASE EVERYTHING

Hi,

You may need to wipe the factory setting. To do so, Turn Off the cellphone, now keep on holding the Home button and turn on the cellphone. It go to the recovery console, now select WIPE or press the short keys mentioned over there and restart cellphone.

Note: You will not loose any data but you may need to resign to google and also may need to install some application.

What steps do I take to reinstall Android Os?
If you are just trying to reinstall an update to OS you can go into setting>applications>all>google services framework. Clear Data and Cache and then go into your update manager and search for updates. If you are trying to install a fresh copy of android OS you will lose all data on phone and but google "Formatting X cell phone" and you should find a forum of instructions, look for XDA developers, but this is essentially factory resetting the phone.

Without knowing what device you have it is hard to give a detailed answer, but typically when there is an update the device will let you know with a pop up. If you still want to check, go into your settings and search around for the software update section. If you let us know what kind of device you have I can help you further.

I am assuming you have an Android tablet since Marshmallow recently came out. The problem with Android is that Google sends out the update to all the different phone manufacturers and then it is up to the manufacturers to make sure it works with their devices and then they send it out to users. This process can take months! That's why Nexus phones and tablets are so nice, because they get the updates immediately, since they are phones made by Google and LG or Huawei.

Google Search you phone make and model and Android 4.4. If you can upgrade it, the instructions will be in the search results. A lot of phones are a few versions behind on the OS, as the providers have not updated yet.

    Update Google App:
    For this, you have to open the Google play store.
    Slide the menu from left to right and then click on "My Apps".

Easy Fix

Press Magnifying glass (Search Button) + B
Myspace.com2.gif and click download app for Android
Then click Menu > Downloads2.gif
Uninstall Ahome

I have a g1 phone and cant get or send pics by bluetooth
As of yet the T-Mobile G1 doesn't support file transfer via bluetooth. So your phone isn't faulty, it just isn't capable of it! Google say they may be releasing bluetooth file transfer support in a later update though.

White screen on g1 andriod
Sir,
Try doing the "slide to unlock" motion on the white screen. Also third party application software problem. If not solved, update the firmware. For firmware update go to the manufactuer's site for download else contact customer support.
