The magnetron needs to be checked, if okay! possible keypad/microprocessor control board issue.

computer. If you can read and download a pdf file you'll have your manual.

Make sure it is unplugged. Yes you must take the cover off and you will see the bulb. Gain access to it and replace it. Do not interfere with anything else.

Well the table might not be on the revolving piece- that is what happened to my microwave oven, or the revolving piece might have to be connected to a belt inside that turns it

Please do not operate the microwave (other than short bursts when testing) until the cooling fan is working again.

Otherwise, the magnetron will be destroyed, and that's expensive.

When the magnetron overheats (since the cooling fan is not working) the magnetron thermostat opens up to kill power and protect the magnetron until it cools back down again.

Chances are you have a bad connection, bad relay, or bad component driving the relay on the control circuit board.

If you will scan (at 300dpi if possible) the schematic, and e-mail it to me, along with clear digital photos of both sides of the board, I can probably help you get this fixed.

That's sounds pretty strange!

Since I don't have any service data on Sanyos, I'd have to speculate.

I would guess that one scenario that could cause it would be if the turntable were turned off via the control panel, but there was a switch or switch mount problem.
