Hi, your problem is caused by the transmission over heating. Remove the battery and battery carrier and clean all grass and debris from the hydro cooling fins and fan. Hope this is helpful, regards Phil.

There are 2 likely problems.
First spray a prime in the carb and see if the motor runs on a prime. If it does then you need to remove your carb and clean- there is likely water in your fuel.
Second- check for a sheared flywheel key.

hydrostatic transmission has reached the end of its life. Call a dealer and get a price to repair, then contrast that amount with the cost of a new mower. Those transmissions are not cheap, you may find folks selling them NOS on eBay, certainly worth a few minutes googling around before you lay down the bucks. Do not buy a used transmission.
