The GZ-MG360 takes microSD cards. Make sure you get a microSD card, not a microSDHC card. While a microSDHC card will fit into the slot, it is electronically incompatible and will not work. microSD cards go up to 2GB in size, microSDHC cards start at 4GB and go up.
What does that mean, “ It will not work?” I realize I have been recording with a micro SDHC 32g for years. On playback, in JVC Everio, it looks fine and I can hear voice very low of course. That’s always been the case. Does this all mean that it will playback on JVC but not when I transfer it to a computer?

SOURCE: Playback on PC has no sound
Are you playing the video back through the camcorders utility ? Sometimes by clicking on the file through windows explorer you will get the picture but no sound, this happens for the Sony camcorder but is fixed by running the playback through the motion picture browser application supplied with the camcorder.

Another solution is to make sure you are using the usb cable that came with the camera. For some reason, if I use any other, the computer won't recognize the camera. It's the one with the magnet. In fact, mine has two magnets on it.
