Favourites is missing

Navigation is easiest if locations are added to Favourites before navigating. To check a location before adding it to Favourites, or find a location near another location:
Tap Menu icon at bottom right of map screen. Tap Navigate on Main Menu. Tap Address or Google.
Type name to find. Done. Tap down-arrow beside item . Tap Show on map.
Check it is the correct place. If so tap down-arrow and Add to Favourites.
Or drag map to required location. Tap on map. Select Add to Favourites. Change name if required.
To enter a route from A to B, when A is not the current GPS location.
Need to disable GPS in Android Settings - Location.
Easiest if A and B are entered into Favourites. Use Google Search or Address to find names and descriptions, then Add to Favorites.
Then tap Navigate on Main Menu. Tap Favourites and select A.
Tap box with Favorites name in it, and select 'Route from Here'.
Tap Menu icon at bottom right of screen. Tap Navigate. Tap Favourites.
Tap 'Route here'. Tap 'Selected' (not Gps).
Tap 'My Route' to see Route on map.
To clear route: From Main Menu, tap Clear Route.
Cant edit or delete (sometimes) Favourites. Use Jota app . See forums.

do you want to make a shortcut ?
if you right click on the opened fixya page right click select add to favourites it will be added to the favourites for short cut click on the faourites you will see fixya on the drop down list

if you dont a favourites tab right click in the top toolbar select the menu bar which will add File Edit View Favorites Tools and Help

When you want to add a place to your favourites

• Press WHERE TO
• Enter the address
• Instead of pressing GO press SAVE at the bottom of the screen or press VIEW MAP and then SAVE

It will be saved to your favourites folder and the keyboard will come up for you to give it a name.

You don't delete items from recently found. A certain number of items are kept there and overwritten as new ones replace older ones.

1. Press WHERE TO and type in the address
2. Instead of pressing GO press SAVE which will be at the bottom of the screen

This will save the address to Favourites and give you an optoin to give it a name.

If you're at an address and you want to add it to favourites press the car on the map screen.
You'll get a message asking do you want to save your current location. Select YES and it will be saved to favourites.

To delete all favourites:
With the satnav turned off press the bottom right corner of the screen with your finger and while pressing it turn it on.
Keep your finger pressing until a pop up message appears
Press yes and all user data will be erased. This will reset all original settings.
If you only want to delete some favourites:
Press Where to, press Favourites, select one to delete, press Edit, and press Delete.
This way you can delete them one at a time.

To view the coordinates of a saved location on your nuvi

1. Touch Tools (wrench icon)
2. Touch Settings
3. Touch System
4. Turn ON the GPS Simulator
5. Touch OK
6. Hold Back to return to the main menu
7. Touch Where To?
8. Touch Favorites
9. Select a favorite location
10. Touch Show Map
11. Touch Set Location
12. Hold Back to return to the main menu
13. Touch Tools1
14. Select Where Am I
    

Here you will see the coordinates for the saved location.
1. For nuvi 200 series units that do not have the Where Am I feature, skip the above steps 13-14. The coordinates can be found by pressing the vehicle icon on the View Map page.

check if you got IE8 Beta latest version.(I'm using Beta 2)
download and install latest version
Export your favourites
Delete all your favourites
Check if issue replicate with empty folder.
Restore your favourites by small batch.
Check if any set of links triggers the problem.
