for sending text messages :
1. call to your network operator customer care
2. request the message center number...
3.note it down
4. go to message settings>message center number
5. insert the number which is noted by you and save it
this solves your messaging problem ...

pls go to message centre under the message settings and see if the message centre code is given in there or niot

go to message setting, text message, text meassage center, then try changing to another center, ( i've got 3 dif centers to pic from but only the first one lets me send text messages)

Is your internet and text messageing for incomming and outgoing working? If it is you will need to contact your carrier and let them know...they will collect some information from you and send it off to thier engineers to have your issue fixed...it might be something as simple as you need the correct feature or settings on your account adjusted. Also if it's unlocked...there's no guarantee that the internet will work on another carriers network therefore it limits what other features you can use...such as mms (which is one part internet and one part text message). I was able to fix this on my phone by turning it off and then on again. My model is sgh-a737.
