Fossil smart watch back came off when detaching from charger and it wont click back it. how to fix+

I'm assuming it's a Gen 3 watch.
These are renowned for this issue, the heat from the charging process softens the glue to such an extent the back detaches.
But the watch is still in warranty, so contact Fossil for a no-charge repair.

Does the watch count steps on a stationary bike? Doesn't seem to

i would advise you to contact Fossil directly.

many smart watches allow for burning of calories whilst you are doing nothing , not heard of them being incorrect on steps.
possibly the timings are wrong.
your phones on AM. and the watch is set on PM.

I have a fossil 1089 and the automatic machinery stops after being placed on a table within few minutes. Is it just for show or does it charge the quartz cell.

Fossil Twist watches are somewhat odd ducks; there is no connection between the automatic watch mechanism that powers the second hand and the rest of the watch, which is powered by a battery-operated quartz movement. Unlike a Citizen Eco-Drive or Seiko Kinetic, the automatic rotor does not power or charge the electronic side of the watch in any way.

What battery do i need for my fossil watch its one with changing display thank you

its the norm for fossils to have 2 batterys one for the hand function and one for the back display. it depends on year or what movement is fitted.you will have a 3v battery for back display and under it there maybe a smaller cell 1.5 .it could be a 2016 or even2025 3voltand a 364 or 377 small cell but you wont know untill the backs off the watch and remember you need it resealing to make sure its water resistant after its been repaired this needs to be done by fossil or a good watch repair service like Intime watch services uk..you have to AC the movement as well to make sure all functions work it needs to be done by a trained tech..

Problems with toggling through colors

There are three batteries in the watch. Two that power the alternating colors and one that powers the watch.

The battery number for the am3695 is 397. Just get two. Walmart carried them for about 4 bucks each.
