SOURCE: Problem getting a Full Cup of Coffee

besides descaling you need to lube the brew group, especially the bit that accepts the group nozzle. You might have a leaking boiler too, 6 years is pretty good for a vienna.

Remove the brew group and look for the two red o-rings on teh brass bit, smear some lube on it, they might need replacing by now, but luckily they aren't too expensive and readily available albeit a bit tricky to install, a good light and some patience is very important.

SOURCE: re: no coffee comes out after the grinding and loading stages!

Sounds like your coffee grinder is grinding too fine. I would up the size of your grinder. The larger the numbers the coarser the grinds. Also, should descale the machine if you haven't in a while. One of these two things may help.

Also, if the above two things do not work you can try to clean out your grinder using the instruction #2 posted on the website http://cerinicoffee.com/Saeco_technical_documents.asp

SOURCE: Saeco talea touch - grinds & brews coffee into grounds drawer??

Try this, adjust the grind to a coarser setting atleast 2 numbers, then remove brew unit and look behind at white plastic valve, there is a small chamber under valve make sure chamber is clean and that the small discharge from chamber to drain tray is also clear. Then remove shower screen from brew unit and clean if necessary, also check the tube from the shower. Reinsert and test.

My caffitaly S 23 does not dispense hot Millikan after the coffee has dispensed. Just hot steam and a little bubbly hot water. I have cleaned it it and will dispense milk and the next cup doesn't.

First; I am NOT a Caffitaly repairman. Though I have worked on mini espresso machines. Sputtering and/or poor steam is an indication that your brewer is not up to brewing temperature.
** Most of these home machines have a very small boiler or tank. They are designed to produce hot water and sometimes steam to brew a small 'European' espresso. Here in the USA we like our coffee weaker and with lots of 'other' things mixed in. The 'Americano' is the same amount of coffee but with a lot of hot water added. This amount will tax the small boiler to it's limits. Top it off with a grande latte would be probably be beyond it's ability to completely froth/heat this amount of milk. When you order a Latte from a Barista you will note that it takes a while to froth a Pitcher of cold milk. They are using a large espresso machine and probably pulling a double shot of espresso. To make a similar drink with any home machine requires doing everything 'double' or twice brew. (3 times?) You will need to check the 'ready' light to make sure the brewer is up to heat prior to brewing your next cup.
** Suggest brewing a regular size or 1/2 a mug of coffee-latte then come back again later for another fresh hot cup.

What do I need to do when error 8 is displayed on turning on machine?

Jura does not allow access to internal parts for cleaning. Brew group is the dirtiest part as it deals with complicated movements to make coffee.
Error 8 means the brew group is not returning to start position after it completes entire cycle to make coffee.
Jura recommends to remove drip tray. Using a thin cloth, insert the hand all the way under the machine. You will feel access to the bottom of the brew group. Wipe clean the bottom of brew group as best as you can. There will be lot of coffee powder (wet & dry) that is partially responsible to prevent brew group return to start position.
A better method is to open the machine using special key. Clean & lubricate the brew group. every two months. This will prevent Fungus and Bacteria growth. .

Are there different types of espresso coffee?

The classic form of espresso is a small shot (2-3oz) of pressure brewed coffee made using about 1tblspn of finely ground coffee. There are several ways in which this original format has been altered to come up with various types of espresso coffee drinks. Here is a short list of some of the more popular varieties:

• Americano - espresso with hot water added to dilute the strength

• Macchiato - espresso shot with a small amount of frothed milk on top

• Corretto - espresso mixed with a bit of alcohol

• Cappuccino - a shot of espresso topped with 1/3 steamed milk and 1/3 frothed milk

• Mocha - a latte with chocolate powder/chocolate sauce added

Milk container won't fit onto front of machine

We had the same problem & worked out that it's because the actual milk container is too cold & has contracted from being in a cold part of the fridge. We moved the milk container to the door of the fridge ( it's a little warmer than the rest of the fridge) & it slotted in perfectly the next morning!

We have an Saeco Incanto Rondo sClass. When brew coffee, only about half of the water goes through the brew group and the rest goes into the drip tray. When we try to run steam or water through the wand,...

My SAECO coffee machine is a real disappiontment. We frothed the milk a few times and then the machine started to only warm the milk and provide a small amount of froth. Now the company is trying to tell me it's something I am doing! Not so. It is the expensive machine not working.

After a cleaning of the group, we're not able to put it back

First step: You need to make the machine think that the group is in place.
Solution: This can be done by locating the three microswitches that need to be set. Turn machine on/Open the door/insert wastetray&dredgebox (switch One)/with plastic stir stix(noconductive material) active brewer microswitch located in the centre of the back wall/with plastic stir stix(noconductive material) active door microswitch located top right side behind door. All 3 switches need to be actived simutainiously with the power one. When installing the brewer, be sure that the microswitch activator slide on the back of the brew group itself is in the up position.
Note: if you do not know what I was talking about(microswitches) best not to attempt
