Loud Buzz I recently turned on my system after being off for 2 weeks for vacation. Now the subwoofer gives off an extremely loud low buzzing sound that seems near the max volume. I only leave the sound on for a second or less. I tried disconnecting the spearker inputs and it is still there.

Yes capacitors bulged or leaking , the most important thing is to clean anyway alsways the electric print if repair with new caps because if there was leaked capacitors the dielectric fluid can damage the brass circuits on the print .
If there are allways equipments thats powered on 24 hours a day there is 1 big problem and that is the missing Self-HEaling re- forming of capacitance in the capacitor and for a to long time and if the temperature was gone the for a time and the tolerance of the cd are very tight close to the max dc. then replace them allways a 10 volt higher if the size of the elco is permitting on the place.

If you disconnect the signal inputs from the sub and it still makes the buzz. Then yes, it is the Caps. If you take it in to be fixed, make sure they check the resistors too. There is a reason why the caps popped. I had same problem, shop replaced caps and they blew again. Checked resistors on boards and found 6 of them to be bad.
It seems that there is a lot of buzz (sorry, could not help myself) about this sub and it being a poorly designed amp.

If the sound is more of a low hum than a buzz, you probably have bad capacitors in the power supply...Time to take it to a shop.

Klh powered subwoofer model ASW10-120B... when you plug in to power... it makes a loud buzzing/humming noise

I would check the caps on the power supply. They are rather large electrolytic capacitors that will look like they burst and/or leaking. When these die, the caps ground and the sub will make a loud buzzing sound. If you are handy with a soldering iron you can replace them yourself. Replace them with the same voltage or a little bigger and same with the size.

If the cap. says 16v 4700pF on it, for example, a 20v 5300pF or a 16v 6200mF cap. will work for this application.

I get a loud intermitant buzz from one of my JBL eon 15-G2 speaker, no music signal just buzz. What is the problem do you think...? EQ circuit problem, speaker cones seem to be intact.

If you turn the unit on with no input and get a loud buzz, and when you put signal to it and you cannot hear the music but the buzz (Probably more like a hum). Then most likely the amp is blown.

Subwoofer problem

If you get your system up and running and hear an audible buzz or hum, the first culprit to look at is either the powered subwoofer or your reciever feed at the entry point to your system.

Loud buzzing from Kef PSW1000 Subwoofer

yes. A good idea. Kill power to the sub, then unplug and remove everything from the sub. go ahead and plug it in again and check for buzzzz.
That is test one. if you have buzz still, its the sub assembly. bad luck, but not impossible. If the buzz is gone its one of the signals to the sub. They can produce a buzzz without any signal coming from your stereo equipment. Replace the feed line, enjoy! BTW...Kef sure does sound clean. good choice.
