Usually 1 panel comes off and under it are the screws. look with a good lite up and toward the front from behind the screen or door assy. usually these first screws are located there and are probably black.

SOURCE: Majestic Electric Fireplace: Flame

The flame doesn't come on, because the bulbs are probably burned out. As far as the fan noise is concerned, the fan probably needs cleaning and lubrication of the shaft from the blower motor. Keep in mind, whenever the blower is operated, it's taking in cool air at floor level, to heat it and send it back out via the fan. It sucks in dust, dirt, lint, etc while it's in operation.

Hope this helps you solve the problem.

Wind blows out the gas logs

I am sorry, but there is insufficient information to give a proper answer. If it is a vented logset, is it in a vented indoor firebox/fireplace or an outdoor fireplace?

Majestic DVR 36 RN gas fireplace pilot flickers when ignited, eventually gets to full pilot. Ocasionaly burner shuts off, pilot remains on. Also, need owners manual for part numbers. Help.

Does your fireplace have a thermostat connected? If so, that may be why the pilot stays on and the burner goes off. Otherwise, it could be a bad thermopile. If that is the case, I recommend you just replace the entire pilot assembly. It is an older model and manuals can be hard ti find. If you still have trouble, I recommend you contact a local certified gas appliance technician.

My Majestic gas fireplace pilot stays lit. But the burner does not light when heat is called for.

Check a safety device called thermopile which the two wires connected to the unit needs to be around 500mV to open gas. This part is between 35-50$ If that is not the problem, you may need to replace unit gas valve.

When we built our home 6 years ago, Airtron installed a Majestic NVBR36RN vented fireplace system. We had to turn our gas off a while back and never thought about the fireplace until now when we wanted to...

It has a panel hidden under the white fiber hearth bricks at the front bottom of the unit. you need to clean the lava rock off of them, pull both of them up, and then you will see the hidden linear cover that allows you to access the valve and light.

We a have a majestic fireplace Model# FS32RN Serial # S31A0096211021 Can we put it into a corner and if so what would the clearance be for it??

Interesting. I just bought a Majestic Fireplace. The data plate is missing, but there is a tag on it that seems to indicate it is a FS 32RN. There are several Majestic units that have been red flaged as the glass blows out. Would be interested in seeing a pic of the one you have to see if it is the same as mine.

Hum nothing shows up on this unit on the web. As far as installing it yourself you need a licensed technician to route gas to it and a permit.

GAS FIREPLACE

Yes, hopefully changing the thermocouple (skinny sensor) or thermopile(fat sensor) would do the trick.
Start with these fairly inexpensive repairs first.
Unfortunately if the honeywell valve is bad a new one can be expensive.
Also it is hard to order parts from Majestic, they just went bankrupt, not to long ago and Martin is taking them over. You might look for your valves model# and check online for other suppliers of that model# or ask for a compatible Direct Vent gas valve that's not as problematic. (eBay and HVAC dealers, etc.)
FYI:
You said it's been about 5 years, you might decide it's less of a hassle to have new gas fireplace installed. Martin and Empire are probably two of the best, with 5 year parts and labor warrantys.
Hope you find some success in your endeavor.
