How do I retreive an undeleted message off my samsung cell phone. I lost 'myu instruction book

One of the easy way is to get your backup restore from google ID if you enable that then there is for sure a backup on your google account. Retrieve your contacts from there.

i don't think it's possible to undelete messages on a cell phone...

You cant. Once a text message is deleted there is no way of getting if back unless you get the sender to resend and save it in a folder on your handset.
