i have Foxconn's 661FX7MF-S motherboard and also i've got an extra CPU - Celeron Dual Core 1.60ghz. Can i possibly use the CPU to the motherboard?

Does my Foxconn 661FX7MF-S motherboard can handle celeron dual core 1.60ghz?

I have Foxconn's 661FX7MF-S motherboard and also i've got an extra CPU - Celeron Dual Core 1.60ghz. Can i possibly use the CPU to the motherboard?

Hi David,
According to various websites the FOXCONN 661M08-FX-6LS does not support dual core processors. You can however confirm this by physically installing the processor & testing it. If it is not compatible you will either see a message on the screen confirming this or you will have no display at all. It will not damage your motherboard or CPU if it's not compatible.

yes, this motherboard has the lga775 processor socket. This socket can be used on recent generation of intel processors from Pentium 4 and up to Core 2 quad / core 2 extreme families.

Does dual core processor support Foxconn P9657AA-8EKRS2H mother board

The Foxconn P9657AA-8EKRS2H motherboard has a LGA 775 Socket. It will support Intel Core 2 Quad, Core 2 Extreme, and Core 2 Duo processors with an FSB of 1066 (800MHz). Thus is should support the dual core 775 processors. (Some Pentium 4, Pentium D and Celeron D CPUs may also be compatible with the board.)

Installed my 661fx7mf motherboard into the jukebox-everything works fine except no sound out of the microphones. The plug is in the correct slot (pink) and the audio jumpers are on 5 & 6 and 9&10....

This is an old board. Have you tried your mic on another system to determine if it's not the problem? If so it could be the 1 x line-in / line-out / mic port is bad. Try switching your mic to a usb port.
