I can not get the water to fill the maker, the pump runs, but the water does not go down in the flask (fresh water) I have not been able to get the steam, to work , no water in and no water out. I would like to take the machine apart so I can clean it. Does anyone know how to disassemble the D300. It does not have screws, it looks like brads. Thanks
You have to force water into the pump. Take the water tank off exposing the water intake. Fill the intake as full as possible (not much water at all). Then use your thumb to cover the hole of the intake and press the water into pump. Do this 4 or 5 times then put the water tank back. The pump will start drawing water from the tank like normal if you forced enough water into the pump. You have to force water into the pump. Take the water tank off exposing the water intake. this has happened to me. try opening the steam wand (but without the steam function turned on) to force hot water out. that usually gets it going for me.
Even if you fill the tank with water, the machine will display this message when it is empty inside (the pipes, heating element, etc.) You need to prime it: run some water through it by running the steamer/hot water wand. That should take care of it.

You might as well sanitize the whole unit. Fill the carafe half with water, half with "cleaning vinegar." Run several brew cycles, pouring the hot vinegar-water mix back into the reservoir. Then empty the carafe, and fill it with fresh water, and run several brew cycles to rinse out all traces of vinegar.
I suppose you could use white vinegar, but the cleaning vinegar has a higher acidity.
Does the circulating pump- pump water? Remove the hose that goes to the spreader bar and run the unit again, if it moves water as a new pump should check for blockages in that hose and spreader tube. Get back to me if this doesn't work please. Personal email address [email protected]...
There should be a fresh water fill on the outside of the coach. If not then there is a valve that would need to be turned that will allow water to be put into the fresh water tank. If that is the case then it will be a bit more difficult to put bleach into the fresh water tank but not impossible. There will be a pump that draws fresh water out of the tank. You can disconnect the input and output lines. Connect the input line which comes from the fresh water tank to the output side of the pump. Then using a flexible line with a 1/2" pipe thread fitting, connect that to the input side of the pump. Put the loose end of the flexible line into a gallon of bleach and turn the pump on. It will draw the bleach out of the container and pump it into the fresh water holding tank. Now return the plumbing of the pump back to the original configuration. Using the valve system complete filling the fresh water tank with fresh water and allow to sit for a couple of days. Then open the low point drain on the fresh water tank and completely drain. When the coach is not in use make sure the tank is completely drained. There is also a fresh water treatment that you can purchase at your local rv parts department.
Bonjour, Ice makers can clog. The water valve can stick open or closed or even not work at all. The water fill nozzle can clog with ice or food. If the unit has been moved the water line could be kinked or the water filter may be clogged. Maybe the water valve for the ice maker water line is turned off. Is there one under the sink? Inside most ice makers there is a thermostat that tells the ice maker that the water is frozen and it's time to dump the ice cubes. That starts a geared motor running to dump out the cubes. And in some cases a mold heater is turned on to help break the ice cubes loose. A lot of ice makers have a cam attached to the motor that turns with the shaft. When the ice cubes are gone the cam starts a timer to refill the ice maker with fresh water to make some more ice cubes. Most "fill" cycles of ice makers are "timed fill". The fill cycle has to start and stop to get fresh water into the ice maker. There may be another thermostat that monitors the air temperature where the ice maker is mounted. If that thermostat thinks the air is not cold enough to freeze water nothing happens. If all the steps don't happen at the right time no ice cubes are made.
The red light should flash, the most likely suspect is that the inlet
tube that carries the water to the ice maker is frozen. If you open the
freezer door and hold the swinging door in front of the ice maker up you
will see a black rubber tube coming down from the top. If it feels hard
it may have an ice block in it.
The best way to clear the block is to turn off the refrigerator or
unplug it, warm up the tube with a hair dryer or for quicker unthawing
take a turkey baster and squirt hot water into the tube catching the run
off with a towel.
It can take quite some time and several cups of hot water to finally
clear the ice. Once done it will take about 2 hours for the ice maker to
cool back down and start a cycle to test it.
Hello lsh2, This an easy fix that I am happy to help you with. The solution is 2 parts water to one part vinegar, so if you have a 12 cup unit it would be 8 cups water and 4 cups vinegar. Run 1 or 2 fresh water/vinegar solutions through and when complete rinse with a run through of fresh water.
I hope this is a help for you. If it is, please positive feedback for me. Thanks! NormanZ
I assume your coffe maker used to produce more coffee for each use. Roughly 6 ounces per large cup, and now is only making 3 oz. cups.
If your coffee maker is sputtering and not able to "suck" enough water to fill your cups of coffee it is most likely due to cavitation caused in the little pump due to a stoppage, which is most likely lime or scale buildup somewhere in the pump line.
To fix it, don't take your coffee maker apart. Get a bottle of distilled white vinegar, and pour it straight into the empty water resevoir. Press brew with no coffee pod so you are just running the vinegar through the system. Pour the vinegar out of the cup and back into the resevoir. Add some ice to cool it off. Repeat about 10 times. This should clear out the toughest lime scale clog.
After you notice the cups are filling full of water, Replace the vinegar with fresh water. Run about 5 or 6 cups of fresh water through the system to get rid of the vinegar.
