I need a manual for phonefax 2804 have been given this and need help getting set up and running

It is a fax machine and phone combined. On the front there is the word sagem and the number 2804. It has a roll of flimsy black printing paper. Not sure whether it needs a roll of paper or normal A4

How to get a fax confirmation on a canon faxphone L190

There should be a button on the front of the fax 'Reports'. Push that. Then go to 'Report settings'. Select that option. For confirmation reports that a fax was sent 'TX Result Report'. Turn this 'On'. You should be set. We just figured this out on our faxphone.

Do as follows:

Go to www.fax.philips.com and then click Support.
Click on Sagem link and select Fax Philips.
Then seelct PhoneFax Philips and select the product from the drop-down list.
Select User Manuals and then the appropriate verison

Need to set up machine was given as gift

There are two ways to use a fax machine in your home or office. You can either have a standalone fax machine, or you can use your computer for this purpose. Either way, setup is very simple. You don't even have to be a tech guru to do it. First, decide if you'd like to have a separate phone line for your faxes so they don't interrupt communications at the office. If so, have the phone company install the line before you get started with fax setup.
Setting Up a Traditional Machine

Step 1.Set your fax machine on a flat and even surface. Plug the power cord into the wall. Fill the paper tray and slide it into the front of the machine.

Step 2.Plug one end of a standard phone cable into the phone jack and the opposite end into the port on the fax machine. It's usually on the back or the side.

Step 3.Turn on the machine and pick up its telephone

. If you don't hear a dial tone, check your phone cable to make sure it's secure. Then turn to the LCD screen and start programming your options. Since all machines are different, see the instructions in the owner's manual.
