Hi. Sounds like a blocked or jammed brew unit. Remove brew unit and clean. To properly do this, you need to disassemble the brew unit. Canbe quite hard to do. The brew units are usually held together with plastic tabs, and may have to remove some screws to allow these tabs to release units assembly. Dazza REPAIRER
That is exactly what I would've suggested, the brew unit is clogged. remove brew unit and try to blow through the top, if you get through then check the bottom. One of the chambers must be clogged. Another question is the coffee extract wet or dry grounds? If wet then the block is on the top, if dry it ids on the bottom.
It would be cheaper to check the thermostat and heating element first and the wiring continuity, although I am not sure if you can find the replacement parts. If you can't, then it looks like you have no choice but to replace the entire assembly.
