Bad Blub? I have a KF-50WE610 Sony and it started to have trouble powering up. It would take a while to power up and I finally figured out that the bulb was going bad. With the old bulb it took a while to power up. Sometimes you could hear a buzz and I assume that was the 5Kv power supply trying to power up the bulb. Now, I have a new bulb and the TV powers up right away. However, 2 or 3 minutes later the screen goes black and stays that way for 1 or 2 minutes. Then, the screen gets bright and all is well for as long as the TV stays on. If we power down for an hour or so, It will do it all again. This can't be good for the bulb. Any ideas?
TIA,
Joe

Unfortunately it is not. The bulbs of the two models are completely different sizes and shapes. You can buy the correct parts for your television here:

it is behind the power button, there will be one screw on each side of your t.v. " by the hand slots to lift the t.v."you should be able to unscrew them with your fingers. they do not come all of the way out. then pull the face plate off. the bulb is on the left center.
