Need size 43 brushes to fit pro rider road king motor

limited info generic answer something caused charger to fail need to check for short - battery failure - circuit failure

hi Peter at worse, ,sounds like a controller fault, are you uk based?
could be that the motor brushes are causing the fault.

If so i can repair them from £20.

most any appliance repair shop or auto electrician will have generic brushes that can be trimmed to fit the holder
take a brush to show as an example

You can see a pic at the web address provided. The number is located on the old capacitor and frequently a replacement will not have an exact fit that requires you to modify the space it rests in. The updated part number is
43-25135-16 it is a 3/30 Mfd capacitor. 30 3 Mfd 370V Oval Capacitor 43 25135 16

it sounds like you may have it rubbing against something, check all round, it may be that the wheel / mount has been bent slightly if so it needs straitening.

as you're aware they are based upon a shoprider , can i ask what you need information on as i have repaired quite a few over the summer ?

SOLO RIDER
Up to 150 lbs = 0 psi
150 - 200 lbs = 0-10 psi
200 -250 lbs = 5-15 psi

RIDER WITH PASSENGER
Up to 150 lbs = 10-15 psi
Up to 200 lbs = 20-25 psi
MAXIMUM = 20-35 psi

The Problem was resolved by Pro Rider under warranty including 2 new front wheels. The scooter is now running better than ever!
