The manual will be hard to find but I own several of these Elite syle Hoovers. The plastic top cover that houses the headlight lens, attachment door, etc pops off by gently releasing the plastic tabs that hold it on. They are located on the underside of the machine. Be gentle as those plastic tabs can be easily broken.
go to http://hoover.com/ and get the section support download the inst.manual, section troubleshooting, videos for guide for troubleshooting and fix it. God bless you
Information to water level sensor is via a small tube which, as the water level rises pushes air into the sensor. The tube could be disconnected....Not a big job but can be awkward....Find a tech......Nomess
The hoover belt number you listed (38528027) has been changed by Hoover to 38528040. Below I have listed a link to the manual that has instructions and a link to the belt you need. Hope this helps!
Good morning! It's common to a washing machine to go out of balance everytime we exceeded the prescribed capacity load (as indicated in the enclosed manual upon purchase of the unit). the fitted new pump is not the source of such problem. Please try to review the manual of your machine and take note of the required capacity load which I think should not exceed 6kg. Best regards.
Hoping to be of help after the spin dry wouldnt work on our hoover elite 1210.
It would do the wash cycle fine but as soon as it needed to drain, it wouldn't.
My handy man (Husband) is great at fixing things and opened the front panel by undoing the screws.
Near the motor on the bottom left, there is a wheel/fan looking thing.
(Turn the machine off first)
He tried to spin the wheel but it would only move clockwise and not anti-clockwise like it is supposed to.
So he gave the fan a few spins clockwise before giving it a gentle pull outwards in which it loosened the wheel and was able to move anticlockwise again.
We then turned the machine on and it started spinning and draining the machine.
This machine is a work horse and I refuse to get another. They don't make them like they used to!!
Mine has a leak and we use a drip tray underneath at the moment. So long as it works. I am happy.
Hope this helps someone else with the same problem.
