go to dewaltservicenet.com and you can download an owners manual with instructions on how to adjust/install the blades.

The instructions are available on page 10 of the manual at this webpage:

Before you download you just need to select whether you have type 1 or 2 of the planer and then click on the icon to the right of "instruction manual"

OK you need to go to Dewaltservicenet.com and in the middle of the page at the bottom type in your model number it will take you to another page and then find your type number and click on the instruction manual section on the right side, I clicked on type 2.
