Drivers/averatec 3200 i need drivers for notebook averatec 3200. all i come across is

I need drivers for averatec 3200

Yeah I have a 3200 averatec also and I just did a fresh install of the os due to the hd crashing. Before the hd crashed I had Nvidia grapics drivers and now im stuck with crappy unichrome graphics, no matter what I tried I could not get the nvidia drivers installed because the installer could not find any nvidia drivers on the hd. Everything I installed came from www.trigem.com website. On the site they have drivers for unichrome and Nvidia which makes no sense to me. One works and the other is uninstallable. This laptop was not a bod one untill I had to do a fresh install, now graphics are slow and choppy. before trigem took over averatec I had no probs updating drivers from averatec website now they dont even have a chipset update. The guy from tech support that I have been working with says they are mislabled but I have installed all the drivers from trigems web site and have not come across a chipset update. I will post again when I know more

That link for the S3G_UniChrome_IGP did the trick. thank you for that. This experience makes clear why we all should be buying from reputable manufacturers - e.g. not Averatec.

I have a Averatec 3260, it crashed and I loaded XP Professional, lost all my drivers but I managed to get them back via Microsoft update (custom option) apart from Video Controller Driver. Found out the Video card was an S3G_UniChrome_IGP and found the driver for this at the following link http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/genericSoftwareDownloadIndex?lc=en&cc=us&softwareitem=pv-24969-2 I assume HP use the same hardware as this is a HP website. Anyway this loaded straight onto my Ameratec and everything is back to normal Note: If you press F4 continually at start up you maybe able to get options to restore back to factory setup using the Phoenix software. Unfortunatley I found this out too late as I had already reinstalled XP.

Most drivers will be found doing windows updates,except video. Im still looking for that one
