It's not a password, it's a restriction. You change the Class of Service for the phone and put in the international code as a restricted digit.

Check your Programming manual for the system.

Hello,Looks like you'll need to re-program your PBX unit. I would suggest looking up: 1.5.3.3 Outside (CO) Line Access 2.2.4 Operator/Manager Featuresin the Programming manual found here:

How do i programme extension on my KX-TES824 pabx?

It comes already programmed for lines, so you must be looking to program buttons for other things. How's that OM working for you? I can link you to the US version, it will program the same but you'll have different descriptions. Start on page 153 "Customizing your phone" :-) http://www.public.carl.airpost.net/Pana/TA-824/200_TA_OM_07-04%5B1%5D.pdf

Basically, you will press PROGRAM and buttons and use 1 + ext STORE for extensions and the right side buttons will be just access codes. Here we get an outside line with "9" and the phone numbers.

Hi i have a panasonic KX-TES824 installed with 2 co lines and 4 extensions. I want the ringtones to be different for internal telephones (ie call between the extensions) and the CO Lines (when call comes...

A Panasonic Analog PTS ring sound is not adjustable, however, the cadence is. An outside call rings with a single ring, an internal call is either voice announce or a double ring. The digital phones from Panasonic have either 8 or 30 different tones, but that's a different system.

How do I change the time on my KX-T7730 telephone.

From the Switcboard / Main telephone ( usually ext 101, 10 or 9 ) with the handset still on the cradle press Program * # followed by the system password ( default is 1234). Now press 000 and then Sp-Phone.Enter the year and then scroll to the month with the right scroll key (located at the right bottom corner of the phone). To change the month use the AUTO ANS / MUTE button. Now scroll right again and change the date and day. To change the day again use the AUTO ANS / MUTE button. Now scroll right again and the time will appear. Set the time. To change am/pm scroll to it and again use the AUTO ANS / MUTE button. Press Program to exit program mode and you are done.
