Getting into freeze condition means that the wrong unlock code was entered several times. it may not be possible to use code to un-freeze it at this stage. only PC unlock procedures may be applied. think of taking it to a professional unlock center for fixing. thanks for using fixya.

  • Power on without SIM
  • Type in #7465625*638*Unlock code# (8 digit unlock code*)
  • Device should say: Network Lock Deactivated
  • Phone may automatically reboot
*The 8 digit code can be obtained by calling AT&T Technical Support and given the representative the IMEI number. In exchange they will give you the Subsidy Unlock Code.

GET THE UNLOCK CODE FROM ATT CUSTOMER SERVICE 18003310500

1. REMOVE SIMCARD AND TURN ON HANDSET
2. The display will read INSERT SIM CARD
3. TYPE #7465625*638*--------# .THE DASHES ARE YOUR 8 DIGIT UNLOCK CODE OBTAINED FROM ATT CUSTOMER SERVICE.
4. U WILL GET A MESSAGE SAYING NETWORK LOCK DEACTIVATED.

after the second asterisk, you'll see a dash ("-") on your screen instead of the number you type.
