I have a foehn and hirsch g422 sat nav and am unable to pick up gps program. Its is saying to set the GPS path in file manage. Also i was told it had hgv settings but cant find them.

Hgv settings easy to get go to gps settings go to route then at bottom of screen it will say settings eg car click on it and then pick truck one edit it to what ever you need

Some Sat Navs can't convert, If it's bought & set to UK & Ireland maps, then you are stuck. 2nd thing , even if you can use Europe Maps on your Sat Nav, you still will be unable, to load USA maps.
Sat Nav not compatable, You will have to buy a NEW ONE.
Odds are if it cannot locate the gps path, it means that you are within an area in which a sat cannot link. Other problems such as buildings, and even fast speeds can prevent the GPS from being detected.
use this and go to the bottom of the page to download gps updater but save your data by setting up an account using the sync program first its all very easy
OK, what you need to do, is go to the GPS Manufacturers website, download the latest software for your unit and PC. Install this as Administrator. Now connect up your GPS via the USB cable. Then turn on the GPS, then update using this software, Reboot and using it's now, updated software, download, any updates, as may be, from the website, it is all done through the GPS's internal program.
