When trying to save a proprietary Printmaster platinum 15 letter or brochure as a PDF for sharing, I keep getting the message "Unable to initialize the PDF printer driver. Try reinstalling." How do I do this? What am I supposed to reinstall, the printer or Printmaster? I have a PC with Windows 7 Home.

it will install there are two files you have to install
once installed it will look like a printer to your program and then print to the pdf995 printer and it will convert whatever you print into a pdf file.

Try starting adobe acrobat before trying to print/save. If screens come up wanting you to agree to a license agreement, you need to do so. A lot of times, this software gets installed, but never gets started, and therefore never gets the license agreed to! Once this is done, and acrobat is working properly, try to print/save.

If it does not work...

You might try to re-install adobe acrobat.

This can be done by going to control panel and then to add remove programs..
Select adobe acrobat and click remove.

After that, you can re-install using your acrobat disc. If you do not have an acrobat disc, you may find the software up at Adobe's website:

or
Adobe.com/acrobatreader

Once this is re-installed, you should be able to launch the print to file!

can you save the file as an eps first and then distill it in adobe acrobat to save as a pdf

err.. ask someone else..

You can try to use some free PDF Creator,such as Cute PDF Writer, which allows you convert many formats to PDF format.Check out the link below and hope it helps.

Make sure you can see all the files. (My computer --> Tools --> Folder Options ---> View (tab) --> <Select 'Show hidden files ...' option.
Find the folder you have indicated. C:\DOCUME~1\Jan\LOCALS~1\Temp\{A35C2323-3CEA-405C-9569-EF5DDE930B2F}

Delete that flder.
Restart the computer and reinstall the software.
