Hello there,
For you to be able to unlock the region code on a RCA dr6318e portable DVD player. Some times you will have to try this over and over again before you get it right. Please be careful.
Turn on the player without any disc inside
Enter the code "321 789 456" before the player menu appears
Select 'all' in the appearing list for regionfree
Turn the player off.
Most times the region code does not work, so to be sincere with you. I am not a 100% sure it willwork for your player.

And if you have tried getting to the region code page on your own and you successfully got it, you can select all, and if all does not work, then it means it is not a region code problem, It simply means the lens of your player is weak and cannot read any disc. I will advice you det the lens cleaned first and replaced if it does the same.

As a workarround, what one can also do, is use anydvd copying program and copy the region locked DVD to a new DVD using that software it will strip any all, region codes and allow any player to play it... link below..

On turning on the DVD a picture of 2 dogs appear; next the machine starts to load; then reports that there is no disc. I have entered the code immediately but has no effect. Have tried running a region 2 DVD to no avail. By the way a menu does not appear.
