I need to download the plot stalker software from online cause my computer doesn't have a cd drive

For all day time lapse, What you need is 'Plot Stalker ' Software.
Now the page for your cam shows this as available for your cam BUT when you click the page, your model isnt listed, I suggest trying a version for a camera mosel similar to yours OR use the Website to Contact them about this.

If it happens for only one particular disk:
Bring that disk to a game store like Gamestop or Rock30 Games and have them professionally clean the disk for a couple bucks.

If it happens for all disks:
Clean the cd/dvd with a laser lens cleaning kit. If that doesn't fix it then the cd/dvd drive will need to be replaced.

Your operating system shouldn't need a new driver for that. CD drives are recognized configured automatically. You can try cleaning the laser lens on the CD Drive with a CD/DVD laser lens cleaning kit. If that doesn't work then you'll need to replace the drive.

Had the same problem. Right click the icon for plot stalker. Click on properties, which is at the bottom of the list that pops up. A window will then pop up with six tabs at the top. Click on compatibility. Down towards the bottom of the window click on the checkbox that says " Run this Program as an Administrator." Problem Solved!

You're probably trying to graph a function that does not involve stat plot features. You can correct this by turning off the stat plot features. Press "2ND" "STAT PLOT" and then select 4:PlotsOff.

First of all, as you probably already know, you will need to shut your computer down and unplug it. Remove the left side panel and find a suitable slot it will fit in and fit all the way up snugly. It's probably going to be a tight fit but it will go. Once completed, reassemble your computer and plug it in. Log on and more than likely in a few seconds after it gets fully logged on a little box should pop up from the task bar saying " found new hardware". It will begin to load and configure the drive itself. Your computer will analyze it and figure out what drive to assign it and what codes to give it and it should be up and and running in less than five minutes. If you have an on board VGA/DVI Driver this card will disable it. If your planning on running two monitors you will need to go to the 'Control Panel" and 'R click on display". Once display opens up go to the far right and click on "Settings" this will open a small screen and should show two blocks that simulate screens and be numbered 1& 2. Below them will be a address type bar that will have one of the monitors on it. Click on the right side and it will drop down and display the other. You can experiment with these and set which you want to be your primary monitor and which your secondary. Of course you've already loaded your monitor drives I assume. If the computer fails to find the card go into the "Control Panel" and find "Add new Hardware" and click on it and it should guide you through the set up process, but I think your computer will pick it up automatically. Those cards have built in hardware that makes them load themselves, I have a ASUS 210 Silent 1GB DDR3 in mine and it is made by Ge Force and it picked up and loaded itself. right away, dhgill1949

Nikon doesn't offer the software for free download.
But there are many ways to get your software installed from disk. I also have a netbook without optical drive:
1.The simplest way is to ask a friend to copy all CD content on a memory stick, then you can install the software from this stick.

2. You can also use a USB external CD/DVD, and connect it to your netbook.

3. Other way is more complicated but also works: if you have another computer with CD/DVD, you can share this drive via network and map it on your netbook. Then you can use the CD/DVD drive as connected directly to your netbook.

you need to do a lot of test, 1. check in bios if your cd-drive or dvd- drive is in enable if not enable it. 2. if your cd drive was enable, try to insert another cd, if the cd you insert was read by cd- drive, the problem is your cd. then if the other cd you insert is also din't work the problem is the cd-drive or dvd- drive. :P

Many cases involving "Upgrades from an 'older' {Operating System, eg. XP or Vista}, to Windows 7, can cause a change in "Hardware Devices," not functioning properly; or not to work at all!"

1. Click on the Website [below].
2. Download the Fantom G-Force MegaDisk {NAS Source Code}, at the [botton of the page].
3.Turn-off the computer.
4. Disconnect the Hard drive.
5. Restart the computer.
6. Install the Drivers.
7. Restart the computer again.
8. Connect the Hard Drive.
9. Turn on the Hard Drive.
10. Check the in the -> Control Panel -> Device Manager -> Hard Drive / Mega Disk!
11. Check in the Disk Management.
