HI If the default code 12345 doesn't works you could not fix it unless you visit nearest mobile repairing shop.Because the unknown code can generate with help some repairing tools without missing user data.There are many online assistant but I didn't find any help.Good luck.Thanks for visiting fixya

you put it as security code....if it doesn't work you can contact nokia care or any local cellphone repairer for getting it restored ..

If you forgot the security code, the only way to reset the security code of your Nokia 1280 cellphone to default code is to have it refreshed/unlock by an application software through PC. You have to go directly to the nearest service center to have it unlock.

brought it to nearest cellphone technician to get it unlocked.in 1280 case,this is the only way.sorry if i cannot give a better solution :)

Nokia 1280 Unlocking Instructions

Warning : Do not enter any wrong unlock codes on your Nokia 1280 mobile phones. If you enter over a certain amount of wrong unlock codes on your Nokia 1280 mobile phone, your phone may get hard locked and sometimes become unusable.

1 - Switch on your Nokia 1280 without any sim card.
2 - Don't bother as to what is displayed on your Nokia 1280.
3 - Compose #pw+CODE+1#.
4 - The Nokia 1280 would then display the message "SIM Restriction Off" and will be unlocked!
