Nokia 6300 won't turn on or charge, battery is dead

It probably needs replacing. Batteries are generally the first component to go faulty on cell phones. It might be swollen -- this is a clear indication that the battery is useless.

Nokia 6300 charging not supported

Hello,

When your phone shows charging not supported. First, you need to try a another battery on the phone, if it says the same thing, then try to use another charger, and if it shows the same thing, then you need to fix the charging port of the phone.

Before you do that, test, your battery and charger on another phone to see what happens, if they both work fine, then you need to fix the charging port of the phone.

Take care and good luck

Phone wont come on

your phone may be charging, but is your battery taking any charge? it seems that your battery is dead. try a diferent battery in the phone or check this battery elsewhere. you can even touch both the terminals to your tongue and see if there is a tingling feeling. Do not worry, 3.5 volts and 860 mAH have never killed anyone. if the battery is the culprit, change it. if the battery is holding charge, then the problem is withthe poweron switch or elsewhere. have it checked by Nokia Care.

Nokia 6300 cannot be detected by my computer when

The PC seems to be OK. The phone switches off and hence can not be detected. You cant detect a dead device. Try a different battery. Or try using the charger while connectiong. If it does not go off then the battery is at fault. Change it. If nothig is detected faulty, then uninstall PCSuite . Restart the PC and re-install PCSuite without connecting the phone. When you connect the phone afterinstalling the SW, he phone will be detected immediately.
