My Toshiba Satellite A55-S106 laptop doesn't hold a charge in the battery for very long. When I attach AC power to charge the battery, my indicator light is orange for about 10 minutes and then changes to green. I assume at that point the battery is fully charged. However, the battery only has a life of about 10 minutes. What can I do to determine if it is a bad battery or something else causing the battery not to last for very long? Thanks.

Removing cd drive from toshiba satelite A55-s106, how to get it out

There should be a screw at the bottom of the laptop that holds down the very end of the drive. The screw hole will have a picture of a disc next to it. If you look underneath and get a sense of where the drive is, you can find that screw. Remove the screw, slide the "C" attachment, and the drive should slide out from the laptop where it plugs into its' connection.

My toshiba satellite A55 won't turn on

Hi. Try this simple steps:

Remove the battery and ac adapter. Press and hold down the power button for 10 seconds. Plug the ac adapter in and leave the battery aside. If the system still doesn't turn on, try to reseat your memory modules. If still nothing happens, you have to replace the motherboard.

Hope it helps!
